I can't believe it! I was named one of PDN Magazine's 30 Under 30 Photographers of 2009. It was a surprise to even be invited to submit, let alone be one of the 30.
I will be in NYC from March 4-14 to show my new work and promote the exciting news, then to SF for more meetings.
The other photogs look wonderful, I was especially taken with Jared Moossy & Flora Hanitijo.
My good friend, Lisa Wiseman, was also selected, she does beautiful, atmospheric portrait and fashion work.
As someone who taught myself how to light and shoot, it is really amazing to receive something like this!

Wow, congrats, Chloe! Don't worry, I haven't forgotten about your cards ... one of these days I will have space on the press and the ink will be something than boring wedding brown and green!!! I swear!
Congratulations Chloe! I found you through PDN's 30 and have been extensively browsing your portfolio and website and am in love with your work. I love the soft subtle light that you use in your photos, it really makes the subject and environment more "real". I also appreciate that you use polaroids...there's no way the grain and color can ever be duplicated on digital :) I recently started taking a B&W film class at the adult school in Beverly Hills and have fallen in love with film as well. Your work is definitely inspiring for me since I'm self-taught as well. I noticed you have a 510 number..me too! I lived in Hayward for 2 years during high school :) Best of luck on your future in photography!
