Someone recently mentioned a photographer to me, Tim Walker, and I am embarrassed to say I had never heard of him. His images are very playful, but what makes them stand out to me is the use of color; his work feels alive and genuinely of-the-moment, not staged, even though they clearly are.He also published a beautiful collection of his work, including a special edition that I haven't seen it yet, as it's now a rare book, but it looks gorgeous.

They just used this image in The New Yorker a few weeks ago, and I immediately rushed out to investigate the photographer. Seriously good stuff.
